I decided on changing wallpaper to something icy. Found a lot of space based pictures tonight.

it's a piece of sofware called Rainmeter, it basically turns your desktop into a fully skinnable system... there are literally thousands of gadgets around, and you can create your own skins using basic html and png's

Awesome, thank you!

Re: The new Post Your Desktop thread

lol, i use a combination of about 11 or 10 different themes...

thats the best thing, you can pick and choose which bits you want from which themes, adding them and customising them around to fit your own style

Ooh, I do like that one.

I've dabbled with Rainmeter myself but I'm not using right at the moment. At the moment, it's just plain XP and this wallpaper

Re: The new Post Your Desktop thread

thanks...

took a while to create a realistic Captain Dax, and then work in a nebula blast for the background... then layering the Aventine ontop and the Aventine logo lol

lots of work, but definitely worth it

That's just, epic! Keep doing these and you might cure my writer's block.

When we finally decide on a logo for LoneAtom Speed Shop, i'll give you a call, yeah? That's some damn good PS work, mate.

I think I need holidays but the only thing I can do is to change my wallpaper and to switch from Ubuntu to Kubuntu (it's giving me a taste of exotism )...

Gnome 3 is shit. KDE 3.5 was great and I actually like KDE 4.7.
