My newest project. An old, but upgraded, Presario V5000 that is going to be banished to a lonely existence as a car pc in my Merc. Pretty much newly formatted. Just got the vital stuff. Thats my ship in STO btw. Defiant class, USS Armaita.

I did this render a few weeks ago, liked it enough to make it my Desktop pic. I hadn't rendered something Star Trek in Lightwave in over 6 months. Thought I needed to do something Trekkie.

I don't actually have her name, which is a rarity for me. I just happened to see this image a few weeks ago and loved it (mainly due to the rainbow socks and belt). I wish I could find her name for you.
showing my work knowledge here...

Thank you, Methos. Don't worry about links, my good friend Mr. Google will help me find her.

Re: The new Post Your Desktop thread

Methos, if I may ask, what gadgets are you using to get the kind of desktop you have? For example, I really like the flip clock, and the chemical chain system monitor, and am just curious as to what they require.

Re: The new Post Your Desktop thread

it's a piece of sofware called Rainmeter, it basically turns your desktop into a fully skinnable system... there are literally thousands of gadgets around, and you can create your own skins using basic html and png's
