And now I've been trying to write a serious review of Shame, but everything I write sounds like a reference to the prevalent penis in the film 'Fassbender gets to the meat of it' and 'Fassbender's down deep in the thick of it'. Maybe I'm just that perverted?

Most of it didn't.

Two things killed that film: the homages and Berry. The teaser and most of the first act worth both brilliant without either. Both the homages and Berry showed up, and the whole thing went strait into the toilet.

I liked most, not all, of the homages in DAD. It was the 20th film and they wanted to make a big deal about that. Didn't like the Berry in a bikini scene but that was about it.
