Last night I crafted the Delta Flyer for my latest toon - a LT CMD 3 Science. I didn't think I'd have enough time before the F2P code went in next month.

Could someone please check the price of the Thunderchild class on Tribble for me? I've already bought it over there with my test points, and can't see the price. I want to see if it's worth getting it now during the sale, or just waiting for F2P.

(I want to rebuild my Tribble character on Holodeck, and the turret console is really useful when playing her - I've really gotten into the escort playing style.)

I'll do you one better, and list everything so everyone can see each ship cost without needing to log in to Tribble.

According to interim EP Stephen D'Angelo, these prices will not be part of the F2P code build that is pushed to Holodeck in early December; they will go live in the C-Store once the actual switch to F2P occurs on 17 January.

Everything except the T2 ships will be cheaper now or stays the same. T3 is 800 in any case. But they have a Sale right now if you want to save another 20%.
Rhode Island is a T2, not a T3.

The Retrofit ships are currently 1200 on Holodeck but will be 1600 after F2P.

So, waiting for new mission content, I've been grinding through as many accolades as I can in the interim. Most have been easy enough to accomplish (besides taking time), but some elude me.

Does anyone know where I can find Orion ground enemies as a Klingon character? I've only fought one during my entire 250 or so days with the game, and can't for the life of me remember where that was.

Your best bet might be the foundry for that. Not sure, if authors can set Orions to enemies for KDF faction.

I haven't seen any Orion grinds available as my Klingon character. I guess I would have to do it in PvP mode, and that could take forever.

Signed up for this last Friday.

Well, inside a week, I'm now a Lt. Cmndr. and I'm rattling through the missions, although I'm starting to find a lot of them to be rather tedious. Destroy these ships, beam down here or deliver this.

Using a Constitution Class right now, after being stuck with the Miranda Galaxy Class is definately the target right now. Unlocked the TNG uniforms, so I'm using that as well. A much better ship and I'll be flying through this game.

Basically they open up the game for everyone to play without paying a subscription fee.
All you have to do is download the client, create an account and play.
Free players are called "Silvers" and subscribing payers (monthly sub or lifetimers) are gold "Golds".
Silvers have some restrictions that't shouldn't affect their gameplay much (inventory/bank space, character slots, ship slots, bridge officer slots and a lower energy credits (the most common ingame currency)).
YOu can unlock most of these things with alá carte microtransactions.

I like the new events on Tribble. I use my FED Tac VA in the FED mirror events and my KDF Engr BG5 in the Defari Borg invasions. Both characters are running DOFF assignments fulltime.

My daughter likes playing the Defari Borg invasion so she created her own KDF Engr yesterday.

I discovered a neat trick this weekend. If you have rewards waiting to be collected, turn them in when your character is temporarily boosted in rank (like a Borg invasion/incursion).
