This is hysterical. You teach the course on taking a single off-hand remark and running with It paragraph after paragraph.
But that's because I'm exploring it as an intellectual or factual question. I'm not making assumptions about the other poster's emotional investment in the topic. (Well, not usually.)

Re: "Castle" season 4 begins tonight

Okay I think it is time to drop this particular topic. I realize it has nattered on because of my emotional reaction to Christopher's slight of hand comment. I know he wasn't attacking anyone in general but making a comment with regards to something he felt was a ridiculous term. It is a ridiculous term but I became a fan the show thanks to the relationship between the two characters and use it as merely a term of affection to describe them. So with that said can we not continue to bring it up and simply refer to Rick and Kate's relationship as we want to?

I'm kind of surprised that no one has brought up "Killshot" yet? No one else see the awesome promo after the episode?

Since it's sweeps time again (and i did my research ) i'm pretty positive that Killshot (and Cuffed.. the episode after it) will be "heavy" episodes, i.e. either moving the characters forward or the Johanna Beckett murder case forward.. sometimes both. The preview was awesome and a good way to show that being shot by a sniper (a professional killer and not some store robber who doesn't know what he's doing) will have a profound effect that a few therapy sessions most likely won't be the end of it all.

Also.. Cuffed had a closed set for a few scenes which makes me absolutely giddy in anticipation.. cautiously optimistic that either one (or even both) will reveal their feelings to the other

Hopefully we'll get a lot of Michael Dorn as Beckett's therapist.

Re: "Castle" season 4 begins tonight

Yep as I mentioned in an earlier post that probably got ignored because of this "Caskett" nonsense "Killshot" is the sweeps episode which is why it takes place in two weeks right smack dab in the middle of sweeps. The promo does seem to touch on arc heavy aspects as Kate spirals "out of control" emotionally. It gives the impression that she has been hiding the emotional aspect of her recovery. I suspect that we will see Michael Dorn again. I'm guessing as mentioned above that it will touch on Joanna Beckett's murder which hasn't really been dealt with yet this season so it most likely be our first huge episode of the season after the premier.

Maybe ScarJo or LiLo will guest star in an episode with music by JLo, and Brangelina will provide a major clue sparked by watching a Spuffy episode.

Good lord, I weep for mankind.

The banality of the practice does disturb me some.
Never mind.

Re: "Castle" season 4 begins tonight

Back during Trek TOS I was a Kirand and Spapel shipper. I was excited there may have been a chance for Suhura during the Mirror episode. Of course, there were those weirdos who liked the idea of Kock.

Re: "Castle" season 4 begins tonight

Honestly I don't consider myself a serious shipper...but I admit that I do like a good coupling and the exploration of that relationship. Kate and Rick's hooked me right from the start and yeah when I saw the term being used on various youtube videos I kind of picked up on it. It actually works pretty well despite it being ridiculous and as mentioned before Stana and Nathan themselves seem to have embraced the shipper faction of the show's fandom.

Most likely because crime shows are everywhere and the relationship stuff/humor of Castle is what sets it apart and i believe they know which is why they are developing it as carefully as one would navigate a minefield.
