To Maurice's defense....from what I know of Act IV, I am convinced this is an authentic shot from the edit and know what the previous photo with the rubber gloves was hinting at. As we get much closer to the release I think we'll be seeing more of them. If so this being posted may be a strong hint how close to release we may be. But for plausible deniablity's sake I am sure Maurice will play down the idea just to keep all of you guessing. Let him have his fun.

Is Dennis still doing the FX for Act IV?

Dennis has long since finished creating the ship passes for the show (except for one special request I sent him a while back...nudge), and additional ship elements were created by NEO f/x. A lot of what's left is backgrounds and animation elements, hence the tests using various techniques to create things that could actually have been done in 1969 using purely optical means. It takes a lot longer than you'd expect to find something that looks good and is 1969-compatible.
