Lost and the Damned is fun, but I prefer the weapons in Ballad of Gay Tony, there are some fun weapons in that game.
The explosive shotgun. That weapon, combined with the awesome car damage system, made for some fun evenings.

Another mission in Vice City where you have to race Hillary, he has a Saber GT and you have a Sentinel, I parked an undercover Cheetah down near that bridge close to the police station, would ditch the Sentinel and take the Cheetah - hit the lights so traffic would pull over for me and win the race that way.
That mission. It must have taken me 30 attempts to beat that guy the first time I played. I tried swapping cars, I tried shooting out his tires, but in the end I beat him by learning to drive better. Then, he died early in the next mission making the entire attempt to recruit him pointless.

I really hope they keep GTA4's car handling in the new game. It was trickier to master, but once you did it made racing through the city much more fun than the arcadey physics of the previous games.

Heh, I forgot! That's what I get for being braindead .

There are rumours that it might be Las Vegas, with the V standing for Vegas rather than 5.

San Andreas introduced so much stuff that I missed in GTA IV. So GTA 4 was pretty boring imo.

So we'll be back in Los Venturas again?

I still haven't finished "The Ballad of Gay Tony." I can't get past the section where you have to steal the helicopter and destroy the yacht. My flying sucks too much to be able to take down the yacht.
Same here, hate that mission, ended up watching the cutscenes on YouTube when I gave up

Hoping for a GTA5 more like San Andreas.

That mission definitely made me rage for a while before something just clicked and i could fly the heli fine. But soon after I just gave up the game all together after the game kept crashing whenever I tried to complete the mission where you have to take a fall in a fight club to protect your mum.

I want a difficulty setting. The games are too hard for me I loved the setting and background of GTA4 but I couldn't get past the damn missions!
Is there a game on Earth you don't complain about being too difficult? Maybe you just suck at video games.

Yeah I did that fight mission differently, I didn't take the fall - ended up fighting that one dude outside the fight pit place - ended up killing him or something. I thought it was fairly rewarding anyway.

I *DO* suck at video games. Does this make me a second class citizen who doesn't get to experience games?

Yes now go and play your Wii

Worst gaming prediction EVER came out today...

A research and consultancy firm "Newzoo" predicts that the boxed retail version of Grand Theft Auto V will not include a disc.

CEO Peter Warman said "The ultimate objective being to launch games faster, create continuous revenues on a title and simply to make more money. He also said "Boxed games will not disappear, but what is in the box will," he continued. "That is why the boxed GTA V version will contain a collectible piece of merchandise and a download code. No disc
Dumbass.

So we're expected to download a 20GB game? Well that's just fantastic given my 80GB limit that I have to share with my roommates. We're not in the golden age of internet yet.

Discs will be around for a long long time to come, I love it when people make a comment about digital replacing discs. Nothing needs replacing they both bring in tons of revenue so companies need both not 1 or the other.

Oh, it'll happen soon enough, but the technology just isn't there for the average person yet. Give it a decade or two.

Re: GTA V Announced

More than likely it will have DLC that you can unlock once you buy the game, similar to Arkham City - which means if anyone buys it used, will be out of luck on that content.
