Correct. John Steed and Emma Peel. Mrs. Peels costume is currently a pile of fabric and a pattern. My girlfriend assures me it will be done in time.

I am working at screams Halloween Park this year (the dark side of Scarborough Faire) so I am in costume every Friday and Saturday. May go to a party the next weekend after Haloween...since many are at Screams. Just depends how lively I am.

^That sounds fun. I loved Scarborough Faire---very lovely grounds. Not as much to do there as at Texas Ren. Faire, but the smaller, more intimate atmosphere made it more relaxing & much easier to see the shows.

Make your very own fresh pumpkin pie!

The Perfect Pumpkin Pie
http://allrecipes.com/recipe/mrs-sig...ie/detail.aspx
Heather picked out a beautiful "Cinderella" pumpkin,
which is best (sweetest) for baking pumpkin pies.
Give it a try... it's fun and easy to do
and your friends & family will tell you
it's the best pumpkin pie they ever tasted!

Helpful Hint:
Don't be shy with the cinnamon... and
Graham Cracker Crust is a better way to go, imo.
Also, fresh roasted pumpkin seeds are a real treat.

Thanks for sharing, Dell. The only desserts I've baked are the Betty Crocker kinds, which are much simpler to prepare. I like pumpkin pies, especially this time of the year.

I am thinking either the green hornet or Wayne Algar. Wayne would be much easier since I just need a wig and a black t-shirt.

Wayne's last name is Campell.
Garth's last name is Algar

I'm thinking of being an Orion slave girl. I have nowhere to go, but I have a new boyfriend, so... yeah. Has anyone done full-body paint before? I have no idea where to buy stuff like that or how to put it on and keep it from staining everything.

Re: Halloween 2011: Costume Ideas, Events, etc.

We're having a party at the new house... so I guess I need to come up with some kind of costume. *oy* Hrrrrmmm... HELP!!

Also, I'm crafting up a playlist of Halloween-flavored tunes, so any suggestions there would be good as well. Here's what I have so far (in no particular order, and I'll admit some may not be the "proper" title, so bear with me):

1. Who's Watching Me?
2. Addams Family theme
3. The Munsters theme
4. Thriller (of course... )
5. Werewolves of London
6. Monster Mash (Another *duh* )
7. Twilight Zone theme
8. Dark Shadows theme
9. I Told the Witch Doctor
10. Abra-Cadabra
11. One-Eyed Purple People Eater
12. Superstitious
13. Sweetheart Killer
14. Bewitched
15. Outer Limits

Thoughts?

Cheers,
-CM-

Re: Halloween 2011: Costume Ideas, Events, etc.

Don't forget the Ghostbusters theme. I had a Halloween CD that had a bunch of great tunes performed by the original artists.

Also, consider the themes from Psycho, Scream, The XFiles, and duh, Halloween (Michael Myers).

I had no idea there were so many varieties of punkins!
love the pics - esp the big pumpkins eating the little ones. the barfing one is a classic now too! I planted my son's pumpkin from last year to keep the dog from eating it after it got squashy - got a giant plant and two pumpkins out of it - but I don't want to carve either one - their my pumkin babies!
