Re: Your latest purchases, cont.

Bought a Casio Palmtronic LD-81 calculator at a flea market today. Works great and its in great condition.

In case you dont know the specifics, its an old calculator with the early 70's type VDF round tube display.

EDIT: Lets get one thing straight, they hadn't mastered the fine art of soldering back in 1975. Took it apart for cleaning. All the wires from the battery to pcb came off. And i was wearing my fragile object hand at the time. Bugger all, bring it on!

I've always been a bit jealous of Barrows (for obvious reasons), but wow!!

Last thing I've purchased, thanks to gift cards: A cordless hand vacuum. Not exciting but practical!

I just got my Manchester City iPhone skin. Which btw fits terribly. At least the front.
The back is great and the sides are decent.

Moments ago, Amazon.co.uk received my pre-orders for

  • Halo 4
  • Battlefield 3: Limited Edition (PS3)
  • Modern Warfare 3 (Xbox 360 since my buddy doesn't have a PS3 )
Go me for contributing my hard-earned German EUROs to this year's gross domestic product in the UK
