It's odd, but I've been more energized about Trek Lit, since you started the podcast. I think it has something to do with the concept of being able to listen to thoughts and opinions on the storylines being discussed with someone else who has also read the books. No one among my core group of friends reads any Trek Lit. I have a friend who reads Star Wars Expanded Universe (well at least she did until they offed Mara Jade), but it's kind of nice to have the show as a place where thoughts on the novels get bounced back and forth.

Also, Teri needs to finish Voyager.
