Cute! ^

We hit Lowe's today---bought batteries, lightbulbs, & Ortho's Home Defense (preventative measure). We looked solar lights for the front walk but decided not to get any.

Starbucks white hot chocolate, tall, whole milk, dash of vanilla syrup, extra hot, cream on top. I miss coffee, but this comes a close second.
I don't ever go into Starbucks as a general rule, but that sounds rather delicious, so rule-breaking may be in the offing at some point. Sounds like I'd have to skip lunch that day, though, based on the likely calorie count of that drink!

One thing I love about US products are the awesome names. I'd never have guessed this was basically bug poison without googling. Sounds like some kind of Pentagon-approved laser grid...

Yeah, had to go back to the bastards, 'cos they do the best white hot chocolate around - plus they accommodate a lot of customisation. That's a drink I request which isn't on the menu. Good luck trying to explain it to them, they usually end up getting it wrong somehow - either giving me a white cafe mocha, or making it skimmed, or forgetting the vanilla, etcetera. I normally have to say quite slowly and repeat a couple of times.

I've been doing a lot of back-breaking physical labour recently, so I have excused myself from too much calorie counting. I just make sure I drink it first thing rather than last to ensure it gets used up.

Back on topic, latest purchase was a waxed cotton fishing jacket. I don't know why, I seem to like some weird things lately. I have never fished a day in my life.

It does, doesn't it? For years, I thought it was called "Best Defense," but then realized today it was called "Home Defense." Hubby joked that it should come with a handgun.

Well, that's ONE way to stop a bug.

There is a setting in the ICE you need to change. I dunno about the yank Volvo's but ours have specific settings. Generic MP3 or iPod. Unless you set it for iPod it'll just give you an error message. It'll recognize it as a portable unit, but it wont be able to access anything on it.

EDIT: If its a iPod Touch, the software might be incompatible. iOS 4.2 is the newest that works. (2009 Volvo S80)

Re: Your latest purchases, cont.

^^ Think you are right.. Been reading a bunch of complaints on the Apple Forum about this from Volvo owners. I have 4.2.1 on my Touch.. have been afraid to upgrade since it's an older (3 years old) 8GB model.

Seems that 4.3 is working for a few owners.

3 dress shirts - spread collar, french cuff, white.

Boring, I know, but I have a bunch of my dad's cufflinks that I want to wear more.

I pre-ordered a bunch of PS3 games in the last week or so (sorted by release date):
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Limited Edition)
- Team Ico – Ico & Shadow of the Colossus HD
- Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One
- Batman: Arkham City
- Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception (Special Edition)
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
- Assassin's Creed: Revelations (Collector's Edition)

And I got Marley & Me and Fantastic Four on Blu-ray today.
