Baked salmon, boiled potatoes and green beans, black olives, with an olive oil and herb dressing. Watermelon slices for dessert. Didn't feel much like summer last night, but had planned a summer evening meal the day before.

Leftover homemade calzones.

Officer - other than the olives, which I'm not a fan of, that dinner sounds awesome.

Sauteed eggplant, roasted brussels sprouts with maple-dijon glaze, and bacon.

It was my wife's second day of a (very tough) school year, and I wanted to make her something nice.

I made some homemade pico de gallo today. Everything (save the limes) was fresh from the garden.

OMG it's good! I substituted the vinegar with tequila. I think it'll be a permanent change.

Just had hot dogs and dill and red bliss potato salad, but they were hot dogs roasted over a fire on a stick at a little lake cabin we've rented for the week. Nothing like fire-roasted hot dogs to make you feel like a kid again. Especially when they were followed by S'mores for dessert.
