Time to dig this thread back up.....

Just had a bit of inspiration of combining Angry Birds with my Alma Mater, Georgia Tech.

Re: Art that doesn't need its own thread

Just mixing and matching different items to depict a tunic and pants ensemble for female crew during the "TOS" era.

http://forum.daz3d.com/postimages/or..._1_2990145.jpg

The tunic is Oshikai's "retro-skirt" with the hip group removed. Clever fellow markets it as a "generic" 60s micro-dress, but he offers an "add-on" that turns it into the famous (infamous?) mini-skirt uniform complete with chevron and rank braids. I found some pants with a leg "flare" morph and a high enough waistline to hide an otherwise bare mid-riff. Though it technically has creases and pockets (Oh no!), the velvet shader I applied hides the worst of those "non canon" details.

Who is she? Eh, hell if I know. Hmm, wait, hellifiknow, 'ellafino, ah, Ella Phino! Why not?

Sincerely,

Bill

Aiko 3, actually. I used one of Sarsa and Thorne's face mophs mixed with some custom settings to create the (relatively) non-anime features depicted in this render.

Sincerely,

Bill

^Neat! Kinda the opposite of what usually happens today, though. Most things that are done with both traditional and digital tools are drawn by hand and colored in the computer.

Has a touching nostalgic feel to it. I think it's the use of the colored pencils (I'm assuming that's the final medium).

Sincerely,

Bill

I seem to generally do things backwards.

Thats actually pretty cool, and not quite as cartoony as lots of other GoAnimate stuff I see.
