The "ae" threw me off, further knowing she was French so I was partly expecting different use of letters and sounds.

As for the European thing, I just generally think that being a multi-lingual part of the world people living in Europe may have more exposure and familiarity with the French language. So, excuse me, for not living in an area where I get to hear French a lot and know how to speak French-inspired names.

It's way more likely to hear French on the streets in, say, New Orleans, LA than in Rome or London or Berlin.

Laetitia/Letitia isn't a strictly French name. It has a Latin basis and is quite common throughout the western world (there was even a First Lady of the US named Letitia in the 1840s). I guess some just haven't come across it.

I highly doubt that to be honest. Too many tourists around. I hear different languages all the time. But maybe that's just me living in a pretty international environment and being friends with people from all over Europe. But still I'm sure that there's more of a language mix in Europe than in the US (on average).

And Trekker does have a point about Europeans being more likely to be multilingual than Americans.

Americans don't speak Foreign.

Yeah, Laetitia isn't a common name in the states at all. I wouldn't call it unpronounceable, I think a better phrasing would be that you don't know how to pronounce it.

As for the vote. Those pics are kind of all over the place. Some look really good, others the body doesn't look that spectacular or the face will have kind of a weird shape. Second row, fourth pic she looks great. Second row, second pic she looks... pretty mediocre.
