Laetitia Casta in unpronounceable?
Not being European or French, yes. The last name I think I could do but the first name I've little clue on how to say that correctly.
"Not being European"?

What the... fuck? Do you think we magically know how to speak other people's languages? Italians, Germans, British, Spaniards, we all automatically know how to speak French?

And "Laetitia", it's just "Letitia" with a slightly different spelling. Are you seriously telling me that you can't pronounce "Letitia"?

The "ae" threw me off, further knowing she was French so I was partly expecting different use of letters and sounds.

As for the European thing, I just generally think that being a multi-lingual part of the world people living in Europe may have more exposure and familiarity with the French language. So, excuse me, for not living in an area where I get to hear French a lot and know how to speak French-inspired names.

I get to hear French a lot because I work with some French people. It's not like I get to hear on the streets.

It's way more likely to hear French on the streets in, say, New Orleans, LA than in Rome or London or Berlin.

You have really funny ideas about Europe.

Laetitia/Letitia isn't a strictly French name. It has a Latin basis and is quite common throughout the western world (there was even a First Lady of the US named Letitia in the 1840s). I guess some just haven't come across it.

Pretty good, for a model. She's got great hair and eyes, and she's in a Chris Isaak video. So I'll go with Thumbs Up.

Thumbs up, way the hell up.

And, itunes started playing Chris Issack as I opened this thread. (Blue Spanish Sky, not Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing. That would have been too freaky)

I do, plenty of French people around here. But then again France is only 30km from here.

I highly doubt that to be honest. Too many tourists around. I hear different languages all the time. But maybe that's just me living in a pretty international environment and being friends with people from all over Europe. But still I'm sure that there's more of a language mix in Europe than in the US (on average).

And Trekker does have a point about Europeans being more likely to be multilingual than Americans.

Americans don't speak Foreign.

You have really funny ideas about Europe.
Oh, no doubt.

Sideways. Killer bod to be sure, but there is just something about French women's faces that turns me off.

Yeah, Laetitia isn't a common name in the states at all. I wouldn't call it unpronounceable, I think a better phrasing would be that you don't know how to pronounce it.

As for the vote. Those pics are kind of all over the place. Some look really good, others the body doesn't look that spectacular or the face will have kind of a weird shape. Second row, fourth pic she looks great. Second row, second pic she looks... pretty mediocre.

Copy and pasted her into google image search and this turned up:

Thumbs down.
