the lack of an Idris figure with it took it from a "must have" to a "maybe somewhere down the road" for me.
This. I'd have bought it immediately if it came with an Idris figure.

I just got my 10 and Martha. Sadly, as it was an ebay pickup, I didnt get the sonic screwdriver with em. Oh well. Still stands tall in my display!

Re: Doctor Who: The Figure Thread

Better to never get the sonic then to lose it. A friend of mine has lost several of his. All these empty handed Doctors on his shelf...

Played around with some pictures again...

^ Nice! The first one of Davros is eerie. Who's the guy on the left in the bottom picture?

Re: Doctor Who: The Figure Thread

Thanks. Was doing some doing some test shots with different lighting and an ancient Fuji camera for a webcomic with the Eighth Doctor, Davros and the start of the TimeWar... da da duuuunnnn...

The other figure is from the Primeval series. Those are also made by CO and in the same scale as the DW figures.

Just checked Mike's Comics and the new Delgado set is expected next week. The Junk Tardis is apparently expected in August. So, with my recreation budget not taking multiple hits in one month, I may go ahead and get the Junk Tardis after all.

Just want to interrupt the Peri discussion (only time I've seen her was in The Two Doctors) for a second to say that I've found that "All Doctor TARDIS Box"!

I may just get it, when I start makin' money again...
I saw one of these in Winnipeg the other day! Very expensive though.

Thanks. And welcome to the forums. Winnipeg, eh? I'm impressed they have any DW merchandise at all there.

Cool pics! I have that TARDIS money bank as well, though I recently stuck a St. John Ambulance badge on the door to give it a "current" feel. (None of the F.C. TARDISes for Eleven have impressed me enough to buy one; if only they'd make one with all the bells and whistles of Ten's!)

Didn't used to until a year or two back, and now only in specialty stores. Luckily, there is one right by my house XD

Re: Doctor Who: The Figure Thread

Well this year's DW SDCC figure has been annouced... wait for it...

A new River Song figure and... the Pandorica chair. La de fucking da.

It's no wonder most adult collectors are loosing interest in the line. I'd rather just have a single River figure instead of having to buy it in a set with a chair that the figures can't even sit in.

Ok, I don't really care for the chair (whoopidy do), but it's nice to finally have a real River figure ... I mean, a body besides the head.
