Constipation, yes. I know, I was watching it last night thinking, “God, really. Just get on with it, man. Eat some prunes.” It’s like, how do you go about doing stuff like that? I didn’t really know. What I was interested in doing here was that he doesn’t really know the full effect of his powers, so it’s all a learning process and it is a bit messy. And then by the second one, I think it’ll be a lot more sort of like yoga. He’ll be a lot more centered and will have more control of his moves. But yeah, there were a few people laughing in the theater last night. I was like, “shut up, all right? Give me a break, okay? You try f—king lifting a submarine, smart ass.”

Well, there is a free screenin' goin' on this week, but I didn't bother for a pass, since the start time was nine o'clock Thursday night. I can just stay local for the midnight show.

Kinda lookin' forward to it...I've found something to like in all of the X-Men movies, so far, even the third one & Wolverine.

Wow. It was awesome. I was so glad I saw it tonight. A+

First off, Michael Fassbender is amazing as Magneto. But James McAvoy is just as good as Charles. The rest of the supporting cast is good too. But it's the story and how it's told that me want to see this film again.

The soundtrack fits really well to the film. Gonna find a way of getting it.

OK. that was freaking awesome. i loved how they explained how come Sebby was in WW2 and still looking young in the '60s. (man that tash sucked though). Fasbbender and McAvoy were both awesome. I loved the 2 nods to Charles' future hair-loss. I also loved Emma's diamond form. I was totally not shocked by Angel's defection or by Darwin's death. the former becuase i saw a clip in a trailer where she was manning the sub with Azazel and the latter because Darwin was barely in any trailers so it seemed obvious major shit would happen to him. Loved seeing Beast as a furry guy and being feral. loved Banshee. (shame Beast didn't say 'you want to be named after a screaming woman?) Moira was great too. Michael Ironside and Glenn Morshower had great little roles. Those guys are awesome. Emma's diamond form was really well realised. FX wise, it was only really let down by some obviously-CGI'd stuff like the dish and the Moscow parade. The Wolverine bit was cool, if unneeded.

overall A++++ best X-flick of the lot.

Speaking of X-Men Origins: Magneto, I certainly wouldn't mind an entire movie starring Michael Fassbender hunting down evil Nazi's, but it looks like First Class has taken that movie and truncated it down to its bare essentials, which is probably a good thing.

I continue to read great things about the movie. Plans have changed and I won't be seeing it Friday. Sunday night still, but not Friday I just recently re-read the "X-Men Origins: Magneto" script which was really well done for the most part. The core of that story seems to be added to First Class, which I believe has been mentioned.

This movie was a solid A+. There was literally nothing about it that I didn't like. It didn't totally blow my mind either, but it was still great overall. Easily of the same caliber as X-Men and X2. Ah, Bryan Singer, why oh why did you ever leave?

I'm really anxious about this one. I still think "X2: X-Men United" is the best comic book movie so far and this may be the first top notch X-Men movie since that movie. Been waiting a long time for such a movie to come along. It would be nice to have more than one great X-Men flick out there in the world.

Funny. Not only did I not think X2 was the best comic book movie, I do not like it in general. Wolverine is one of my least favorite characters, so to have X2 focus solely on him, I was bored through most of the movie. While I found the first X-Men movie to be relatively enjoyable, I still think First Class has the chance at being the only X-Men film I actually like.

Yeah, I didn't manage to read those before I left so stayed just in case.

Thought the movie was brilliant though. The action was great, and McAvoy and Fassbender did really well in their roles. There were a lot of humourous moments as well.

As well as being a good film on its own merits I think it also helps accentuate X1&2 (and X3 in some aspects but not as much). Furthermore I like how we get to focus on some X-Men that we normally wouldn't see on the big screen.

I can't really think of too many negative things to say really.

Now just a few things which I'll spoiler code.

I thought they way Darwin died was pretty cool.

Magneto was just badass throughout the whole film.

I liked Charles using his pick up line

LOVED the Wolverine cameo, the whole audience burst out laughing.

Also liked the Rebcca Romjin cameo but I don't think as many people noticed it was her.

When Charles was using Cerebro which mutants were there? I notcied Storm and Scott, and maybe Jean Grey? They only appeared for a short time and I couldn't figure out who the others were (and one of my friends didn't even realise!)

The only negative thing I thought was that Mystique's turning at the end felt a bit abrupt, like she's leaving her brother moments after he'd been shot.

Lowest grade I've seen around so far is a B-, not bad if that is your worst!

Is it safe to say that Fassbender as Magneto in this film is the Hugh Jackman as Wolverine of the original? I'm really Wolverined out.
