Lincoln the lawyer, the man of principle, the exceedingly gentle in all personal dealings, tracking down and killing sentient beings without trial or involvement with law authorities. Lovely.
You must love Buffy Summers.

Okay, how long before The Asylum announces: "Abe Lincoln: Zombie Hunter"?

Coming soon to DVD . . . . .
No, theirs would be George Washington: Vampire Hunter.

It would fit their pattern. When Indiana Jones came out they made Allan Quatermain and the Temple of Skulls.

I don't care 'bout no fictional teenage gals. Y'all can keep those, just leave my historical figures al -

Yeah there's no need to be going into this again. Gaith's made his feelings about this project quite clear.

Because as we all know, things never get rehashed around here.

Maybe I should point out that Buffy's a more inspirational figure to some people than old Abe?

Ah, but that's because Indy is trademarked so they couldn't use him.

Abe is in public domain . . . .

Sure, President Lincoln could defeat vampires. And zombies, too.

But how would he fare against...Chuck Norris?

^ They'll pull a "Let's you and him fight" and then team up. Abe's the Flash to Chuck's Superman. Chuck does everything amazingly well, Abe's specialized to be the best at one particular thing: hunting the undead.

I look forward to watching the Internet burn when Abe Lincoln starts spouting Whedonesque one-liners.

I'm not wild about the posters, but that's not going to keep me from seeing the movie anyway.
