In one day the modestly-rated Kat Dennings got more votes than the highly-rated Alana De La Garza got in a week. Is this an example of how more people on the internet like to go negative than positive? Or perhaps this is a boob-related thing.

Pretty sure it's the breasts. And the fact that her plain face makes her seem more attainable.

This may be an example of something OkCupid's people talked about in their blog: Having a higher degree of disagreement as to whether or not a woman is attractive actually tends to correlate with stronger feelings of attraction from those who do so feel attracted.
