I really fucked up my shoulder a couple weeks ago, so I have barely been able to work out. I've screwed up my shoulders before, but normally they heal in a couple days. This just seems to be getting worse, and it's affecting my entire arm. It's so annoying.
If it lasts more than 2-3 weeks you should see a doctor.

Re: Fitness Checkin

I didn't even realize this thread was here... It'd give me a good place to post my daily routine

Today I did biceps, forearms, quads and cardio - and tested out on overhead military press. 95 lbs, 5 reps. I don't keep a log anymore so I don't have the exact sets... I did for awhile but I can keep it in my head now. I know I preacher curled up to 85 for a 5 rep burn out set. Jumped on the elliptical, first time I'd used one of those in quite some time... supposedly burned 589 calories in 60 minutes. Pushed personal leg press max back up to 250. Used to be 375 once upon a time but I quit leg lifting for a very long time throughout Marine Corps training, just did lots a running, so I lost mass.

Anyway, tomorrow's supposed to be Crossfit Abs and upper back.

It lasted about 2 weeks. Then I moved and fucked it up again.

I've only worked out 3 times in the last month and a half, and now I'm sick. Ugh.

Re: Fitness Checkin

Yay! I did heavy chest and back today and my shoulder didn't bother me at all!

However, I seem to have bruised my tailbone, but I have absolutely no idea how or when.

Re: Fitness Checkin

I did some heavy core lifting today. I like oblique cable crunches and lat pull with a box grip.

Oh and I pushed my leg press up from 250 to 315 over about a week and a half. I'd like to hit 350 in about 2 more weeks.

Re: Fitness Checkin

Fairly mediocre chest workout today. This guy was hogging my favorite bench for over an hour! I had to adjust my workout to compensate.

How many benches do they have?

Re: Fitness Checkin

There are 3 barbell flat benches...but I only like to use the one. The other two are a bit unbalanced, and I always feel like I'm going to tip over.

It's okay, though. I did a lot dumbbell stuff instead.

Dont they ever fix them? That's a lawsuit waiting to happen!

Re: Fitness Checkin

I just think it's the floor. It's not so unbalanced that it causes problems for other people. I just prefer my bench.

Plus, all 3 benches are next to each other, and I kind of wanted to stay away from the guy who was using the one. I don't understand how this skinny twerp was doing it, but the guy was benching over 400 lbs. The guy looked malnourished! Maybe he took a bunch of speed before he came to the gym. I can't figure out how he was lifting so much weight.

Re: Fitness Checkin

Normally when I do legs after a layoff i go slow and carefully, but everything felt light last night, I maxed out the leg press machine my first night back.
