Another awesome episode. Loved the political debate, and Abed's relationship with Robin. We're now sadly on hiatus again until the end of next month. I dunno what I'm gonna do

The first half of the political episode was great, but the laughs sort of faded out in the second half. Good still, but the tone shift after Annie broke Jeff was jarring and stopped the episode from being as good as some of the other episodes.

I still like that exchange Abed had with the guy in the bar.

Re: Ongoing Community Discussion Thread

The romantic tension between Jeff and Annie in this episode was palpable. This is what I'm talking about that i don't like in the show. The teasing and the swerve (although there wasn't much of a swerve). It's clear they both have feelings for each other. They both just acknowledged they care about each other. We know Annie hasn't completely given up on her feelings for Jeff, and Jeff is just unable to commit. I think this is the reason why they've not got together aside from the dramatic stuff. It's incredibly annoying. I'd wish they would just resolve this either way. I'm a big fan of Jeff and Annie so I kind of want them together, but if not then make it clear. Stop dicking us around.

Jeff and Britta are intriguing, i just think they're both too egocentric to be in a relationship with each other. Annie makes the most sense for Jeff despite her youth. I think she sees the "good" in Jeff and thinks she can coax it out.

This ep was underwhelming. Of course underwhelming for Community is best ep ever for most other series.

But still, grading on a Community level, this ep left me wanting. Meh, there is always next week.

I think the same could be said about Britta seeing the good in Jeff, but she is far more aggressive and tries to force it out.

Though, I'm also interested in a Troy and Britta coupling, I thought we might have seen it while Annie was still interested given the possibilities for stirring up the group dynamic with not only her but with Jeff as well. Plus I'm a bit disappointed at how underused Troy is, or at least have Troy being more than Abed's shadow/the "crab dip" guy.

Re: Ongoing Community Discussion Thread

Yeah I've noticed a possibility of Troy and Britta. I dunno, and i do think Troy is underused and has even greater potential to break out. Wasn't that shot from above from season one between Annie and Britta? I've forgotten now. I think Annie is confused about what she wants to a degree and is possibly in an exploratory phase.
