I would think Castle would know better than to act like that during an investigation, even of a friend.

I'm about five episodes behind right now so I'm trying not to look at any spoilers.

Nathan Fillion was on Kevin Pollack's Chat Show podcast for nearly two hours on Sunday night. I downloaded it from iTunes last night and listened to the first half on the drive in today. I love that guy!

Just checked out the Kevin Pollack Chat Show for the very first time.

Thanks for bringing it (and Nathan's interview) to my attention.

If what Castle had said was true of his friends influence earlier in their lives, I can understand that reaction at least initially. It's going to be hard to change away from the steadfast belief in his friend.

It's a fun way to spend an hour or two, even if Pollack is a bit full of himself at times. My favorite episode by far was when Billy West and John Dimaggio (Fry and Bender from Futurama) were on.

Yeah, I'm planning on checking out the back catalog at some point.

I liked Esposito's line "Mom and Dad are fighting".

^That was one of the best.

I'm not sure if it was foreshadowing for Alexis's future or not, but when Rick talks about reviewing the old case file and Alexis volunteers to help him, I got the impression that she's going to end up studying criminology and interning at the Precinct.

I could see that happening. Didn't she already shadow Beckett for a project?

Sort of. Alexis helped out around the precinct, organizing the evidence room. When she came across a photo album I think it was, she made it her mission to find out to whom it belonged and delivered it to them.

One of the show's sweetest moments.

Just finished watching tonight's episode. Good ep and nice cliffhanger. Can't wait for Part 2. Oh, and keep an ear out for another Firefly reference.

^Oh yeah, that was funny. Martha asks, "You've never heard of the Serenity?" (a spa) and Castle throws a wordless look toward the camera.

I'm glad the "Arab terrorist" angle turned out to be a red herring, something set up by the real bad guy to play to the Homeland Security guy's preconceptions. Actually I was halfway convinced that DHS Guy was the killer, though I didn't know what the motive would be except possibly manufacturing a crisis so he could get prestige for solving it.

^Well, it's not like Castle hasn't gone serious before. Their 2-parters tend to be pretty intense stuff. Remember Beckett's apartment blowing up?
