Re: Third Nolan Batman film title announced!

Yeah, I'd be pretty disappointed if Biel joined the cast. She does have a Batman connection, though: She starred as Abagail Whistler in Blade: Trinity, which was directed by David Goyer. Perhaps that's how her name got thrown into the mix? Out of all those actresses mentioned, I would prefer Hathaway and Knightley.

Re: Third Nolan Batman film title announced!

I still don't think it will be Hathaway...she's been circling two other flicks, one in particular that she thinks will have Oscar buzz for her but who knows? Anne has been long rumored and seems to out last other actresses. If not Hathaway I'd prefer Keira Knightly...too bad the Eva Green rumor was debunked because she'd be my fanboy pick for Talia

I'd have preferred an actress that looked more ethnic for Talia, like Sarah Shahi, but since Ras wasn't all that ethnic in Liam I'll take Gemma for the win!

Re: Third Nolan Batman film title announced!

Gemma Arterton is like Natalie Portman right now, she's rumored for EVERYTHING it seems. I keep seeing her name pop up for projects all over the place. She's hot but doesn't strike me as the greatest actress and I'll grant that the only thing that I've seen her in is "Clash of the Titans:" so far lol.

Screw all these casting rumors! Go retro.

Ione Skye for Talia. Kerri Green for Poison Ivy. Don Johnson for Riddler. Judd Nelson for Hugo Strange.

Re: Third Nolan Batman film title announced!

Collider has independently confirmed that Talia will appear in the film, but take that for a grain of salt since it was their report that was initially debunked.

Talia only makes sense from a trilogy perspective of coming full circle to a degree. Be nice to see a new female antagonist besides Catwoman, but we haven't seen her since Returns.

Re: Third Nolan Batman film title announced!

I'd be disappointed if we saw Talia but not Ra's. I'd love to see a return of Ra's at the end of the film. That would be awesome.

Re: Third Nolan Batman film title announced!

^ That would be cool...I'd be satisfied with that Talia kind of acts as a front buying time for her father and acting as a distraction for Bruce. I kind of want to see her as her own woman though too. All of these rumors are flying fast and furious right, kind of fun to speculate about but I hope Nolan ends the speculating soon and we get some official casting news.

Damnit, JA, you got me all excited about Eva Green and Naomi Watts being cast!

I'll be annoyed if we end up getting the likes of Jessica Biel. Bleah.

Like you, I'm still hoping for Natalie Portman and/or Rachel Weisz...

There's been a lot of talk recently about where the movie will be filmed, with rumors that Detroit has beat out Chicago as Gotham. I'm a bit biased, but I loved how Nolan showcased Chicago in the first two films and will be disappointed if the location changes.

JA is steadfast in his belief that Chicago will still be used for filming.
