TOO MUCH SNOW.

Had to go into town for a fitting on a double-breasted dinner jacket and the weather was so awful I promptly bought - and immediately wore - a pair of wellies to cope with all the snow and slush. Any excuse for new shoes/boots...
I know the feeling, I had to buy my very first pair since I was a child this year. I too went for Hunter, mine are navy blue though, and as luck has it I ended up spending £28 at John Lewis for them, since I fit perfectly snuggly (with my thickest socks on) in the children's largest size.
Wow, that's great; under half price, AND a cooler colour.

I like the plaid jacket too; lucky you!

No shopping today; did the last of the Christmas food shopping yesterday.

A small rollerball of Kate Spade's Twirl perfume. I love it, but didn't want to spend a lot on a big bottle. This will be enough for the days I don't wear my favorite, Vera Wang Princess.

Got a jumper from next for £5, nearly went mad and almost brought a bag that had been reduce from £120 to £55, but lucky notice it had a mark on it and the only other bag in the back was a different colour.
Trying not to look for this bag on the net.

It's a good thing he did too. Imagine going to weddings, parties, sporting events, movies, shopping and work in your underwear for the last several years.

Re: Your latest purchases, cont.

My first two Little Travellers, that I think I mentioned in this thread when I ordered them, arrived today. This are little dolls that are made by women affected by HIV/AIDS in South Africa and for many of the women these dolls are their only source of income.

I have shrunk the picture I have taken of them so they appear the same size in the photo as they are in real life.

It is a little silly but I am slightly disappointed that their dresses are almost the same colour. I have just ordered another two and I hope they will be other colours.
