Is it by any chance Signum? That'd be logical to a great degree, being that it's owned by one half of the original publisher...
It's not Signum. The Reynolds & Hearn back catalog have been sold lock stock to another company. I don't think it's been officially announced yet, so I can't say any more than that.

Not Trek, but there's also a description for Greg Cox's Warehouse 13 novel A Touch of Fever:

An original, official tie-in novel by New York Times bestselling author Greg Cox based on the hit Syfy drama Warehouse 13!

Hidden away in the Badlands of South Dakota, Warehouse 13 is a top-secret repository for historical artifacts imbued with dangerous supernatural properties. Warehouse agents Pete Lattimer and Myka Bering are on the lookout for loose artifacts raising havoc. Reports of a genuine psychic healer, along with a possibly related epidemic of mysterious illnesses, lead Pete and Myka on an investigation that stretches back to the bloody history of the Civil War. But when Pete is infected with a deadly fever, Myka and the rest of team must track down a pair of cursed gloves—before a madman unleashes a virulent plague upon America...and the Warehouse team loses one of their own.
I guess its accuracy is similar to the Star Trek books, but maybe Greg can chime in on that.

Actually that's 100% accurate, probably because I pretty much wrote the copy myself!

(Although I should probably throw in the proviso that the manuscript is still being edited and looked at by syfy, so there could be some editorial revisions down the road. I doubt if the basic plot will change, though, since that was approved in advance.)

Can't wait to see the cover!

(Thanks for posting that, btw.)

You're welcome.

And nice to hear that for once a blurb from the catalog is accurate.

I don't think I've ever see Voyager's belly before. Of this set, I think Vanguard looks the best -- though the McCoy novel is close, too.

I understand if you won't answer this, but I was wondering if The Artifact in the based on real history ?

I'm going to be vague here, but the "cursed gloves" belong to an actual historical personage, although I made up the glove bit myself.

There are also a number of fun secondary artifacts that pop up.

Cool, that's all I wanted to know. I love the way they tie The Articacts into real history.

Me, too. Before I even got started, I made up a two-page list of famous historical events, people, or objects I might want to use. Just for brainstorming purposes.

^Cool, hopefully A Touch of Fever will be successful enough that you'll get to use them.

Me, too!

The trickiest part was finding a famous historical person that the tv show didn't already have plans for. They were usually way ahead of me.

For instance, my first outline began with Pete and Myka hunting for Lizzie Borden's axe. Then the tv people told me about what was going to happen in the season finale . . . .

Oops! Back to the drawing board!

Well, it seems as if the image shown in the catalog for Decalssified is actually an earlier submission for the cover by Doug Drexler which hasn't been approved.

Wasn't a Flag Full of Stars also a sequel to Star Trek 6 or was that a prequel?

A Flag Full of Stars was one of the "Lost Years" books set between TOS and the first movie.

Though I'm not entirely sure what that has to do with this thread...
