uggghh. I dont find my grandmother attractive at all. And her raspy voice makes me think shes got emphazima. Yuck. Maybe 40 years ago. But not now and not while she was Captain on Voyager...

Sexy & hot are not the same things.

I wouldn't call Kate "hot", but I'd agree that she can be sexy.

Whereas, for example, Megan Fox is hot, but dumb as a rock & a trainwreck personality-wise. So, not so sexy.

I miss the rare ould times when people could distinguish between words like pretty, beautiful and sexy. Some blonde cyborg walking by in a catsuit that looks three sizes below the indecent exposure law would be sexy. An intelligent woman who fights for herself and her crew (and looks pretty nice while doing it too) is beautiful.

When choosing a life partner, I think probably most important quality is how well they'd function on a game show because there's no point committing to some gimp that can't phrase their answers in the form of a question or know when not to double down on Million Dollar heads or tails.

Janeway just seems like the sort of woman who would never never ever buy a vowel.

I consider Kate to be 'old money', and it shows. She's got a level of refinement that qualifies into a category we rarely see now days: Actor.

Not "star" or "celebrate"... those are not the same thing as Actor.

No. I was answering the original question. I meant she's quite domineering as a woman and authority figure. (some) Men (and some women) may find that attractive.

But eh, I don't see it either. I mean, I don't get the urge to bleach my brain that Chuck does when she'd played romantically, but I also don't see anything in her as especially attractive or unattractive. She's not horrible or anything, but she doesn't do anything for me, really, whereas I think McFadden as Dr. Crusher was gorgeous.
