Why would you play Serenity first? Doesnt that kind of ruin the surprise? Serentiy was way better than the series was...I'd have been really disappointed afterwards.

I think he meant the true pilot episode which was also called Serenity.

"Serenity" (pilot, that FOX aired last), not Serenity (film).

I just recently became a Firefly fan and a convert to browncoatism. I found it on Hulu and was in love by about halfway through the second episode (The Train Job). I've seen 8 episodes and I've only seen clips of Serenity but it looks pretty awesome. Can't wait to (hopefully) get the complete series dvd set and Serenity dvd for christmas!
