Re: DS9 ruined Alexander Rozhenko
DS9 totally ruined Alexander. It was one of the few times this great show just took a decent idea and trashed it. And for comic relief of all things!!! TNG Alexander over DS9 Alexander any day. "Firstborn" is one of my favourite eps and finally shows a true bond developing between Worf and his son, one of understanding. Both of them had forgotten it all by the time of "Sons and Daughters" though. Shame.

Sidenote: I don't think DS9 ruined Alex.

Re: DS9 ruined Alexander Rozhenko
I think towards the end of his appearances in DS9 he came across as a semi-compentant officer.

Re: DS9 ruined Alexander Rozhenko
Worf seem to accept Alexander and they appeared to be close. Then with "Sons and Daughters", Alexander reveals that Worf never tried to contact him in years, and then it makes you go, "Wow, Worf is a jerk". It doesn't totally change how we view Worf, but it did make you wonder about the guy. Still, Alexander's portrayal in that episode was memorable, although a little weird... |

Re: DS9 ruined Alexander Rozhenko
Then on DS9, he's the same, but as an adult, as other Klingons mock him for being 'too human'. My favourite episode he was in was "A Fistful of Data", and he was really a minor part of an episode that was great mostly because of other characters.
