Does look good, and Craig, Ford and Wilde in one movie, that's awesome. But Orci/Kurtzman/Lindelof and Favreau? Not really.

So Grazer, Howard and Spielberg don't do anything to bolster that that your giving off?

Actually there is some kind of WGA problem with the writing credits on this movie I think...one of those cases where multiple writers have been asked to do rewrites and revisions. Ron Howard was originally slated to direct this and Robert Downey Jr. to star but he pulled out to film "Sherlock Holmes 2". I guess Glazer and Howard got producing credits after Favs was named director.

So the stars of Firewall, The Invasion and Year One impress you more than the makers of Lost, Star Trek, Iron Man and Minority Report?!

Actors are dependant on the material that is provided by directors and writers. So... yes.

So your opinion of Lost and nuTrek is low I take it? Those are crticially and fan loved projects. You're not selling a point here thus far on your in what you find about Cowboys and Aliens. The names you mention for writing have a very solid track record the past 5-8 years. The two stars are very proven. Even Indy 4 and TF1&2 were monster successes. Only TF2 let me down out of those three.

Fair enough - but what I'm suggesting is that Ford in particular and Craig to a certain extent have a knack for picking stinkers. I think the production/ direction crew have a much more impressive CV.

Oh my God! Did Harrison Ford just look...interesting in something? More importantly, did he just look interested? I haven't had a smile brought to my face by Ford in 15 fucking years...but Favreau got it out of the old guy. I am pumped now! Can't wait to see this...and Favreau is quickly becoming a director with a beeline to my top five.

So nice to see this after the "meh" feeling I got from the Green Lantern trailer.

This same feeling has been shared at BOM and SHH.

Looks like fun. Perhaps not enough to get me to the theater, but interest for sure. With all the premise and clout here you expect a lot.
