As promised, my Christmas present shopping is now done.

Ordered a large hamper of various foodie treats, which can be divvied up and allocated appropriately on arrival, and a mixed case of decent wine which will suffer the same fate. Both ordered from the Wine Society which really does make Christmas shopping ever so simple.

That should cover just about everybody who deserves a present from me. And if there's anything left over, I get an extra indulgence or two over the holidays too.
Well done, sir!

I have an organic food box delivered every week and can buy a lot of edible and boozy goodies from this farm, which I plan to do. Happiness is home delivery. My husband has a lot of the Christmas gift shopping done already for our sons, though he's leaving my daughter's presents to be. Seeing as she's 13, I don't blame him. Here's one of the gifts I'm ordering for her:

It suits her very well!

Awesome shirt - I'm going to order that for the little miss!

And thank you KingDaniel for this thread - thanks to seeing this any time I read Misc, my family back in England might actually get Christmas presents this year

Great shirt!

Fun website, too. I just wasted a whole lot of time on it, thanks to you.

ThinkGeek is a great site. I'm getting my nephew's birthday and Christmas presents from there---at his request.

I've gotten tons of stuff from ThinkGeek for my boyfriend over the years. It's a great site for geeks of all kinds!

I have decided on one present so far, but have not bought it yet. I'll be buying only two more this year but as yet don't have any ideas.

Got my new computer yesterday evening, and finally got round to plugging it in today. I'm in heaven. I keep laughing when I step into the room and see the 24" monitor. It's insane!

Congrats, I know the feeling!

Listened to some Christmas-y music in the car today - I have to stop myself from doing that this early or I'm going to get burned out over it before December again

^We did our weekly shopping last night, and there was Christmas music playing in the grocery store.

Even I--the biggest Christmas nut in the country--thought that was jumping the gun a little.

I'm going to do a big chunk of my Christmas present shopping tomorrow- Ulta is having a big sale on their cosmetics and shower smoothies. My mom and sister always get a big basket of Ulta goodies from me...and I always pick a few things up for myself, too.

Re: The Christmas Countdown Thread!

I'm having the usual problems regarding x-mas presents: Not a big problem as us 'adults' don't give each other presents, but a big problem as I have absolutely no idea what to give 'my three little ones'!

That 'princess T-shirt' might actually be a good thing for my niece, but I'll still have to figure out what to give the 'just turned teenager' and the 'only an adult in the eyes of the law'-one (both boys).
I'm currently thinking: some [insert brand name]-shirt for the one living with his single mum and something funny from ThinkGeek for my -in his own way- very geeky nephew (perhaps he'll just have to settle for a bottle of Absinthe... after all, it's what the young ones drink these days and he seems to like it),
