TP: Zero Sum Game by David Mack Review Thread (Spoilers!)

For all those who are interested ZSG is now available online, from at least Simon & Schuster, Barnes and Noble, and Amazon.

But I'm gonna wait for the ebook, which hasn't been released yet.

Heh. Funny, I was about to start this thread, having just this second placed my order with The Book Depository.

New Trek novels again! Hurray!

I liked the review threads people used to make that had polls at the top, for people to rate the book. Can we close this one and make one of those, or am I the only person that cares about stuff like that? haha.

I'm with you though; I'm excited. The first 24-th century full in-continuity novel since almost exactly a year ago. And David Mack to boot!

Noticed it was online this morning but not in store yet. Would be nice so I can use my member coupon on this book and a few graphic novels.

I'm almost done with Destiny Book 3 (100 pages left), then I'm plan to plow through A Singular Destiny, and I plan to check my local book shop on Tuesday for Zero Sum Game. Yeehah!

I know most of you already know this, but Destiny is amaaaazing. It's chocolate covered Trek with a cherry on top. David Mack is solidifying himself in my mind as a top-shelf Trek-writer. All the cameos and continuity nods fill my geek heart with delight. And I never thought I'd see Martin Luther mentioned in a Trek book (one of my heroes.)

Mack is the man!

^Absolutely!

Hey, Mr. Mack--how long until we should expect, say, a scene with our beloved Ninth Host?

'Ninth host'? Wait, are the Goa'uld get involved or have I just got my sci-fi franchises mixed up again?

Really looking forward to this, if its half as good as the brief descriptions that I've read then it'll be amazing.

And, as they say on the breen homeworld; "#%^&*@"£@^"!
