Nothing can touch the original. Nothing.

No, he's actually playing Yogi Bear. How the mighty have fallen.

Weird. I thought he was the Park Ranger. I know that Justin Timberlake is Boo Boo though.

Year One was complete crap. The only time it was "funny" was when it was poking some fun at Biblical stories (Abraham's remarking that the circumcision look was "really going to catch on" was the funniest line in the whole movie) but most of the rest of the time was just really stupid, low brow, scat humor and "look at the flamboyantly gay Sodomites!" humor.

Blech. That movie was just pure shit.

I'm not concerned with whether it matches up to the first 2. GBII was a load of shit, GBIII might be worse, but whatever, there's no untouched legacy to avoid tarnishing.

I've already seen Ghostbusters when Mummy 3 came out. The terracotta warrior army coming to life would have been the single best thing about a Ghostbusters movie ever.
And I have no interest in seeing young Ghostbusters taking over. I hate these kind of stories. They are never good, especially not in this day and age.

Probably not but something can come close and there's nothing wrong with coming close.

He looks really fucking awesome. I really do think he'd do a new film if the script actually impressed him and if he has that kind of power I wouldn't blame him. I'd not want to do a crappy movie again either if I could help it.

Re: Aykroyd Comments on Murray, Ghostbusters 3! Working on Script w/Ra

After waiting 12 years for Terminator 3, and the disappointment that was, I don't want a BAD Ghostbusters 3 either.

But if it's not going to be made, I want a better reason that because Bill Murray was being a jerk of some sort.

If the script is bad? OK. Fine. Long as Bill says so. I'll trust his judgment.

Just can't deal with a vacuum of information and no real reason for why it's not being made, and can't deal with it just being because Bill is acting eccentric.

Either make it, or don't. But give us a reason why, once and for all.

The first one came out months before I was born. I watched it a thousand times as a kid. The second one came out when I was 5, I still remember waiting in line to see it. Remember seeing Ecto-1 at a car-show. In a sense, I've waited 4/5ths of my life for GB3. If it's going to happen or not, give me a damn reason. Don't leave us hanging.

Ghostbusters 3 will be so in line with Beverly Hills Cop 3, Die Hard 4, Indiana Jones 4, Blues Brothers 2000, Terminator 3, and other terrible late sequels whose names just escape me.
