I like this photo because it too contains so many noir elements: high-contrast lighting, shadows, the anti-hero, and the femme fatale whose machinations doom them both.

Well, if you go by their RL ages, yes.

But Angela Lansbury was only three years older than Laurence Harvey when she played his mother in The Manchurian Candidate. And nobody ever found that strange. So obviously, a lot will depend on the quality of her performance.
