Re: Ellen Page: Genre babe of the week #25 (July 2010)

I remember when I first saw her in X-Men: The Last Stand. I thought she was quite fine indeed (and when I got home I immediately went to IMDB to make sure my lusting was legal... and it was! ).

I agree with those who are saying she's more of a "cutie" than a "babe", but there's nothing wrong with cute in my book.

Thumbs up!

She's cute enough for me to give her a marginal thumbs up. I was shopping on the Santa Monica 3rd street Promenade tonight and saw several dozen hotter chicks there. She's really cute in those tv ads. I think she looks better moving than in pictures.

Thumbs way up. I've love her work, and well, I think I love her. Or lust her, one of the two.

Re: Ellen Page: Genre babe of the week #25 (July 2010)

I first saw her years ago on ReGenesis. At the time, she had a pale-faced boyish look...

Since then, she's gotten a lot prettier.

The long hair helps.

Her roles are usually good too. Like Davros, I loved her in Hard Candy where she played a teenage girl who lures a pedophile back to his place and turns the tables on him.

Check it out. It's pretty good. What she does to him is pretty intense and disturbing.

And finally, I'm looking forward to seeing her latest movie Inception.

Thumbs up.

Never really considered her sexy but just cute. She's the kind of girl you can talk to about Star Wars(what was the storm troopers number?) and comics.

I just noticed we have a thumbs down icon now. How new is that? Nice touch.

She's cute, but not sexy. She gets a thumbs sideways on the celebrity babe scale from me. I also think her performances in Hard Candy and Juno are a bit overrated, a bit lacking in naturalism. You can sort of see the wheels turning, as it were.

Anyway, here's Ellen with Drew Barrymore, her Whip It director:

^ I saw that kissing pic earlier, but wasn't sure that was Ellen Page and couldn't make out who the other person was.

Very cute and talented, but doesn't give me that "babe" zing I am looking for. Sideways.

She reminds me of of Michael Cera - always playing the same damn character! Time to show us some range, if you got it.
