Re: The unofficial Rock Band thread.
Here's 5 songs that should be there: Diary of a Madman Bark at the Moon Flying High Again Perry Mason Over The Mountain Learning those songs on real guitar back in the day made my hands bleed.

Re: The unofficial Rock Band thread.
Also, drums are getting cymbals and the keyboard will be a 25 key midi keyboard. I can't even imagine how much this will cost. 500 bucks? ![]() http://www.usatoday.com/tech/gaming/...and10_VA_N.htm http://www.usatoday.com/tech/gaming/...and10_ST_N.htm Second link has a video - http://link.brightcove.com/services/...id=90946364001 Also, PowerGig is now officially dead. I kind of feel bad for them...

Re: The unofficial Rock Band thread.
Your YouTube link stopped mid-clip. I hope they were talking about being able to export RB2 songs into RB3. Some songs revealed for RB3: "Combat Baby" -- Metric "Dead End Friends" -- Them Crooked Vultures "Get Free" -- The Vines "Lasso" -- Phoenix "Me Enamora" -- Juanes "Oh My God" -- Ida Maria "Portions of Foxes" -- Rilo Kiley "The Hardest Button to Button" -- The White Stripes "Been Caught Stealing" -- Jane's Addiction "In the Meantime" -- Spacehog "Plush" -- Stone Temple Pilots "Walkin' on the Sun" -- Smash Mouth "Crazy Train" -- Ozzy Osbourne "Here I Go Again" -- Whitesnake "I Love Rock and Roll" -- Joan Jett "Just Like Heaven" -- The Cure "Rainbow in the Dark" -- Dio "The Power of Love" -- Huey Lewis and the News "Sister Christian" -- Night Ranger "Bohemian Rhapsody" -- Queen "Break On Through" -- The Doors "Crosstown Traffic" -- Jimi Hendrix |

Re: The unofficial Rock Band thread.
And yeah, that's the only YT video that I could find. The link above it should have the full thing. I think if they announced that they would be patching old songs to work with "Pro" mode, I'd run out and buy the guitar. There are probably some songs from RB1/2 that have piano parts that could be patched as well.

Re: The unofficial Rock Band thread.
I hope and pray they allow for track importing in the Wii version. I know since there's no HDD you can't do it the same way as the PS3/360 versions... but maybe there can be some way to register your copy of RB2 with Harmonix, then the RB2 songs appear for you to DL in the store? I know, I know: wishful thinking.... |

Re: The unofficial Rock Band thread.
http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/11/ro...ds-on-preview/ I love the sound of a lot of this, especially that Harmonix has given consideration to the fact that a lot of people out there have TONS of DLC that often takes forever to sort through. I love the idea of being able to rate songs I don't care for so they won't show up in random playlists (I tell you what's not fun at all, going through a setlist and doing pretty good and then getting slammed on some shitty death metal song at the end). |

Re: The unofficial Rock Band thread.
![]() Right now, they have to sell me on the Pro mode. I'm willing to shell out the money for yet another "real" guitar, but the game has to actually be a good instructional tool for it to be useful in any way. I feel bad for all those Ion Drum Kit people though. Their 300 dollar kits are now useless. Some more details: http://www.plasticaxe.com/2010/06/11...e-peripherals/ http://www.plasticaxe.com/2010/06/11...functionality/ For peeps who like drums, it seems that they've been adding cymbal support into ALL previous RB2 DLC. It looks like none of the old songs will be compatible with Keyboard or Guitar Pro though. ![]() http://e3.gamespot.com/story/6265161...opslot;thumb;1 A couple of videos showing the madness that is pro mode.

Re: The unofficial Rock Band thread.
One of the pics of the guitars showed what looked like a real guitar with a 1/4" input jack... I wonder if they will sell an adapter to allow me to use my guitar with RB3.
