The seasoning I used was way too overpowering, which is weird because usually I'll season them and they'll come out tasting way more bland than I had anticipated. Oh well, live and learn, right?

How was the meatloaf? Do you have a specific recipe or do you just sort of make it up as you go along?

I'm also looking for something new to do with potatoes, preferably something not too fatty, maybe some sort of seasoning and bake them in the oven type of thing. I'm open to suggestions!

Greek Lemon Potatoes.

Takes about an 1 hr, 20 minutes, so if you can plan ahead, these are REALLY yummy.

Potatoes, being starchy, take very well to being creatively seasoned. Garlic, onion powder, herbes de provence, oregano, thyme, sage ... pick a few. Bake the potatoes, then open them up, add the spices and mash the taters with a fork. Add a little bit (I mean a little bit, no more than a teaspoon) of olive oil, and you're swinging on a star.

Thanks for the tips! Sounds super yummy ... I'll experiment when I get back!

Had pancakes with margarine and jam! Made them nice and thin and fluffy too which is nice because the first couple were botched.

I find whenever I make pancakes or crepes I need to do a few practice ones before I start getting it right.

Last night I went to a wine tasting event so dinner consisted of the appetizers brought around on trays and lots of wine.
