^ Exactly. I won't believe it's the final season until they've aired the series finale... and even then I may not believe it for a couple of weeks.

Tom Welling mentioned that season ten will be the last season at some event last night and there was supposed to be an offical press conference this morning or something where they were gonna announce it. It was in Michael Ausillero's article.

Well first he's got to survive falling thru a 5 story building without powers due to blue K dagger stuck in his gut, then we'll see where the season takes us by then I'll have a job or made a comfortable living as a new author.
Yes its about time they show him in full costume similar to GA except he's got the cape,and the EL family crest or maybe alternate super suit that doesn't look like tights.
But that's my take on what they should do for season ten.

^ Well he did open the box from Martha that was implied contained his suit...since his eyes reflected the crest of the House of El in color for the first time on the series. I don't think he is going to put on that suit until the series finale. I'm debating on when to post the summer hiatus thread...this seems like the first post season news already.

I'm surprised that there hasn't been a "Is this show still on?" post yet in this thread.

Even as loopy as this show has gotten, I still enjoy it. Although, it has needed to become less Smallville and more of a Young Superman show for some time.

Defintely NOT a terrible show. Most terrible shows do not last 10 seasons.

That's pretty much the show's problem.
Now that the Kandorians are gone it's mostly a story about Watchtower, Green Arrow and Checkmate with some relationship drama added and only a few Superman references here and there.

^Yeah, I'm going to give the writers the benefit of the doubt. The show is about the guy who becomes Superman, not Superman himself. So you can't have him complete the final part of the journey if there is another season coming up. Maybe with this being the last season, the final transition will happen without it being drawn out and avoided at the last minute.
Biggest question of season 10 for me:
How does Clark pull off suddenly wearing glasses and no one remembering what he looked like without them?

Some highlights: Sounds like he's definitely willing to put on the tights by the end of season 10. He also really wants to get all of the major players back this season, i.e., Annette O'Toole, John Schneider, Kristin Kreuk, etc.
