I remember that Boston Legal episode. It was a good one, and Jeri's just as stunningly gorgeous as ever.

I'm not big on lawyer shows... but I might just watch the two episodes she appears in, though.

Need to catch Boston Public, too.

I can't say I'm a huge fan of lawyer shows either but William Shatner and Candice Bergen are both awesome in it. Watch the two Jeri Ryan episodes and I'll be surprised if you won't want to watch more of the series.

Anyway, in the episode she mentions a website where fans literally track celebrities in real time. Do those sites even exist? It sounds like a horrifying way to live but she made it sound so real and personal when she described it. I ended up hoping they're not real and she was just acting very well...
Jeri was the first celeb to get a conviction against an online stalker.

I actually remember that guys posts. One of the first introductions to how the Internet was going to be a magnet for the insane.

He got busted again a couple of years ago for stalking some female wrestlers...

Re: Assimilate This! JERI RYAN Appreciation Thread.

Jeri Ryan was a fortunate choice to play Seven of Nine, and not only for her physical attributes, although that never hurts. She is one smart cookie, and she played the Borg perfectly, with just the right mixture of cold scorn and nervous vulnerability. She made all the actors better when they had a scene with her, but she really shone when matched against Mulgrew. Their scenes literally jump off the screen for me. I hate what they did with her character in "Endgame," however. Such a shame to see a unique and compelling character reduced to an ingenue just to boost the ratings.

That she has worked steadily since Voyager ended is a testament to her acting abilities. If she had been nothing but eye candy on Voyager, she would have faded quickly into the scenery. It is truly a shame that her costume is remembered better than her acting by many fans. For that reason alone, I think she should have been dressed in something closer to a Starfleet uniform after the first two or three episodes.

I think just stick with the Silver cat suit and maybe some black ones with a little color would have been good. I hated the purples/maroons & brown ones...they didn't suit her well. I think the Silver one fit the character and made her look great to look at.

Her acting is always enjoyable.

I hate what they did with her character in "Endgame,
ITA.

In Endgame she was simply wallpaper, something to be looked at and pretty much nothing else.

I also agree with your assessment of the scenes with her and Mulgrew. Amazing to watch, when you consider that during the show Kate resented the introduction of the character. I was heartened to hear that in the last 2 years she's come to reassess her own response to the addition of Seven, and has comes to terms with it.

As for me, although I really liked Kes, I loved the introduction of Seven of Nine. It gave the show back the "conflict" that so many craved. I "appreciated" her despite the outfits (not quite my cup of tea.) which is a testament to the woman's acting ability.

Per Variety, Jeri's new series has been picked up by ABC for the fall season.
