You will laugh until you cry. And then you'll beg for a sombrero.
That sounds like a great line from a movie preview.

Done by that dead guy known as "The Voice".
In a world where a man was judged by his sombrero . . . one man dared to go hatless.

Clint Eastwood IS . . . "The Man With No Hat."

Strictly speaking, sombrero is simply the Spanish word for hat, denoting no particular style. The oversized Mexican-style straw hat with a broad, upturned brim is properly called a . . . er . . . uh . . . a Mexican hat.

Ah, good times!

I remember animating the Sombreroprise like it was a year, ten months and six days ago. And I'm still proud we even made the headlines. Well, TrekMovie.com headlines, that is.

Back when I first joined in on <voice tone="booming" epic=yes> The Blue Warp Nacelles Experience </voice> I spent 8 hours reading through the entire thread. And that was a little less than a year ago. It's grown even more since then.

With a cameo appearance by John Wayne:

"I haven't lost my temper in 40 years; but, Pilgrim, you caused a lot of trouble this morning; might have got somebody killed; and somebody oughta belt you in the sombrero. But I won't. I won't. The hell I won't!"

ALTOGI: here are some pages of interest in the Blue Warp Nacelles thread:

Pg. 87, 95 & 97, although there certainly are hundreds more. And, the classic video on youtube:

I would like to note that 'sombrero hat' is redundant.

It's a pity the Sombre Aero didn't catch on.

Look at it. Look how sad and morose it is. Look at it and feel its pain.
