STO Trek BBS Fleet - Page 3

Ok, I looked into it and I need a full team of 5 with me to form a fleet. I can scrounge up a couple of my friends, but it would be hard to get 5 at once.
I am on the East coast and expect to be snowed in for the next couple of days so I should be on a lot. My Cryptic handle is "aelius", just like here. If you will send me a message about wanting to join the fleet I will send you an invite as soon as I can get one established.
You might as well send it to Elric@aelius as he his my highest ranked toon.
I also would like to hear what people think the fleet should be named. The TrekBBS Fleet, while descriptive, is a bit basic. Although it would make it easy for BBS members to find us to send requests to join the fleet.
Any other name suggestions are welcome and if a bunch of good ones come in we could have a poll.
I will hold off on forming the fleet until we have a good name.
Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Some of my suggestions, probably all bad:

"TrekBBS It's in the Name"

"We are TrekBBS"

"The TrekBBS Armada"

"TrekBBS Flee or Die"

"The Trek is in the BBS"

or just the standard "The TrekBBS Fleet" heh

Never know when I'll be on but it could be anytime really. (Telecommuting makes that a hell of a lot easier).

I haven't really looked into the community aspects of it... how does someone join a fleet?

I'll be online until v. late tonight (uk time), being the weekend and all. I might even see the sun rise.

Grab me if you see me there (I've already got a couple of you on my friend list and I'm waiting for TimofNine to confirm me.)

I'm interested and my id is the same there as it is here, SFRabid. Still learning the game so I could very well miss messages that scroll by while I'm hunting controles and trying to fly in the right direction.

Nice, I like those. If you click the link in my sig I've got some there that I took. I especially like the ones headed towards to bajoran wormhole. Feel free to add them to your collection.

Well Timofnine, that sounds good. If I haven't heard anything I like better by the time I can scrounge up five people at once to form the fleet I will use that.
Once I get it formed I will go back over this thread and send invites to anyone who listed their Cryptic handle. I believe the invites are per toon though, so I will need the name of the character as well.
Can't wait to hit space with you all.

^ Me too. I didn't realize you had to look people up by their username, not by their character name (still used to WoW).
