You've never had hummus? Pita? You poor thing! Pita is Middle Eastern flat bread, notable for the pocket that you can stuff -- traditionally with delicious falafel. Hummus is a paste made from tahini sauce (sesame seeds), chickpeas, garlic, lemon, and sometimes other spices or things like red peppers or olives may be added -- it is also a Middle Eastern food. I sometimes make my own hummus, but I'm broke and the falafel place round the way has a sweet deal: a large tub of hummus for $2 and they always throw in at least 2 free pitas.

Went to Denny's last night and had a French Toast Slam...it was surprisingly excellent. I had never had their French Toast before. I usually just order Lumberjack Slams when I go there for breakfast.
