Thumbs up. She's an attractive woman and I like seeing her in stuff, though I haven't gone out of my way to do so. I haven't seen The L Word yet, but I do watch Lie to Me where she has a recurring role.

I also saw Flashdance for the first time a few weeks ago. It seems that she started a fashion trend back in the 80s with the sweatshirt with the extra large neck hole...

Apparently the sweatshirt came about when she had to cut the neck to get her head through after it shrunk in the wash.

Fun Fact: She was classmates with David Duchovny at Yale. He used to hit on her only to get rejected, something she can laugh about now. Years later, he suggested her for a role on The X-Files, but that role eventually went to Gillian Anderson.

Imagine Jennifer Beals as Scully. Personally, I like the idea.

I was all set to give her a thumbs down, I never cared much for her back in the Flashdance days, but she has really aged well. Thumbs up.

She's not a bad-looking woman, and I give her points for her work on The L Word (and not for all the hot lesbian sex... well, okay, not just for all the hot lesbian sex ), but generally, I've never really thought of her as a "babe".

Maybe I just need to finally watch Flashdance, but for now, sideways.

I'll stick with Gillian Anderson, thanks.

Unfortunately she's pretty much the only one on that show who keeps her kit on.

Yes, that's too bad -- it might have persuaded me to vote thumbs up instead of sideways.

Unfortunately they use a body double for her character's dance scenes.

^ I think they used multiple dance doubles... including one guy?

You know, with Fame and Footloose being remade as generic, homogenized teeny bopper flicks stripped of all depth, emotion and relevance, aren't we due for a Flashdance remake too? Dance flicks are in, after all, thanks to High School Musical.
