Several Voyager fan writers have written Haiku. I don't, I have enough trouble writing Drabbles.

This is a link to Dakota's Haikus, written in December 2002.

Dakota passed away November 23rd, 2004 from advanced Breast Cancer. She is missed.

Some excellent haikus there Brit, thanks so much for posting it. I am sorry to hear of her passing away. I have had a few friends lost to breast cancer and it is very hard, makes you treasure every day and not whine about aging that's for sure.

What is a drabble?

A Drabble is a very short story. Exactly 100 words, no more no less. I started a thread for drabbles.

How on earth does one pronounce "Res'stance" and make it sound anything like its supposed to be??

Rez-stance. No break, no Resi. That's how I pronounced it anyway. Poetic license.

OMG, I had no idea! I love her stuff and was wondering just the other day why there haven't been newer stories from her.
