Ron Glass, Anthony Stewart Head and James Marsters would be cool to see on Dollhouse, if the series continues.

I don't think so, but he was in a few episodes of Criminal Minds.
I second the calls for Ron Glass, Sean Maher, and J August Richards.

It felt more like Wash when he was pretending to be the guy who designed the Dollhouse, when he reveals himself to be Alpha it was more like the exact opposite of Wash.

Re: Other Joss Whedon alumni for Dollhouse
How about this game- recast Dollhouse using only previous Whedon alumni.
Obviously Echo and Dr Saunders aren't a requirement.
Topher- Tom Lenk (Andrew)
Boyd- DB Woodside (Robin Wood)
Victor- Marc Blucas (Riley)
Sierra- Sarah Thompson (Eve)
Paul Ballard- Mark Lutz (Groosalug)
November- Amber Benson (Tara)
Adelle DeWitt- Tough one, I'm thinking maybe Morena Baccarin (Inara) or Stephanie Romanov (Lilah) or maybe even Robia La Morte (Jenny)

I would love to see Amber Benson on...well, anything. Unfortunately, I think there's a little too much bad blood since she left Buffy. But who knows? The Industry does have a short memory.

I saw her recently on some movie about an alien taking control of a certain part of Ron Jeremy's anatomy and killing people on the set of a porn film.

Re: Other Joss Whedon alumni for Dollhouse
Some of my alternate picks:
Topher - Adam Busch (Warren)
DeWitt - Julie Benz (Darla) or Gina Torres (Zoe)
Ballard - Marc Blucas (Riley)
Victor - J. August Richards (Gunn) or David Boreanaz (Angel)
Dominic - James Marsters (Spike)
Sierra - Summer Glau (River)
Boyd - Nathan Fillion (Mal) or Anthony Stewart Head (Giles)
Mellie/November - Jewel Staite (Kaylee)

Agreed. With both Alexis Denisof & James Marsters, when they speak in their real American accents, they sound more like British people faking really dull American accents. (To me, when British people use American accents, they usually sound like themselves but with all of the character removed from their speech.)

Especially given his track record, I'm surprised he doesn't blame the actors more for his failure. He blames everyone else.

Re: Other Joss Whedon alumni for Dollhouse
You know who else would be awesome? Daniel Dae Kim. I'm picturing him as a handler.
Besides casting a lot of Joss Whedon alumni, I think it's cool how the show has been bringing in a lot of veterans from other sci-fi shows. Of course, you've got all the Battlestar Galactica folks, like Helo, Apollo, & Col. Tigh. Plus, while most might remember Mark A. Sheppard a Badger on Firefly, I prefer to think of him as Baltar's defense attorney on Battlestar Galactica. And the leads from other canceled shows seem to be taking out their resentment on Sierra for no good reason. First, her abusive handler was played by Kevin Kilner (a.k.a. the late, lamented William Boone from the 1st season of Earth: Final Conflict). Then, the guy who got Sierra sent to the Dollhouse in the first place was Vincent Ventresca from The Invisible Man.

Saw that.
Actually, my fave thing she's done in that few years was a Lifetime movie "7 Things to Do Before I'm 30." Cute and funny.

Most producers who've been in Hollywood for any length of time have a "stable" of actors they frequently draw upon. Glen Larson, Steven Bochco, Dick Wolf, David Milch, Aaron Sorkin... Rick Berman even did it during his time on Star Trek.
