Greetings,

The USS Interceptor is restarting again in a different era. The year is 2381, the Borg has discovered a subspace tunnel in the Delta Quadrant that leads directly to the Azure Nebula. From there the Collective used this tunnel to send an invasion force into the various locations of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants with the goal of eradicating humanity and any other races that stood between the Borg and total galactic domination. Hour for hour the Borg attacks new worlds and Federation does her best to defend herself against the incursions.

USS Interceptor come back from the battle of Ramatis and are there to resupply and repair the damages from the battle. Docked to the Starbase 215 the crew takes a short but needed break from their resent mission. Soon the crew will set of for another mission - a mission which will create a new destiny for the crew and for the future of the federation.

The game starts in the background of events played out in the Star Trek: Destiny Trilogy. There is no requirement at all of having read the books to join, all relevant information is provided. The game is to continue in the Gamma Quadrant and build from its own events from there.

First Episode:

The year is 2381 and in the middle of the Borg Invasion the crew are sent to escort the new Commander of the Starbase and its remaining crew to the Gamma Quadrant, in which the first federation Starbase awaits them. After a quick skirmish with some Dominion ships awaiting them on the other side of the wormhole, they to come to discover that the Bajor Wormhole has disappeared in front of their eyes as they entered the Gamma Quadrant; They crew of the USS Interceptor, and the remaining federation visitors in the quadrant, truly find themselves alone the in the new frontiers; Not knowing if the Federation they once knew still exist due to the Borg Invasion.

Star Trek ... Trek ... say that again, trek, roll the tongue on the R within if you will.

Trek at its core, is as much an outward exploration but no less of an inward journey of discovery. Something, I feel most Trek RPG's has lost sight of.

...trek...

As much of an exploration of new worlds and new civilisations, or even lost long dead peoples, to discover the past as much the future, trek is also an exploration of both human and alien spirits, the heart and soul.

Whilst the majority of Trek RPG's seem to have been militarised, they have continued to drift further from the heart and soul and more towards the guns, sex and well, its become the OC in space as a whole through most RPG's.

This, after many years of claiming I never wish to take a command again, has caused me to adorn the fourth pip again, take the mantle and light the torch and once again shine it into the unknown, and the known, and at myself and my character there is always in any distant corner or corner you are familiar with, more to learn.

The Ulysses, is a new Trek RPG, who rather than choosing old RPG freinds to crew her, I wish to find new friends who share the true vision of trek, and to roleplay by the USS Ulysses' moto:

To Strive, to seek, to find; and not to yield.

To Strike to better oneself and the lives of others.
To Seek understand, new worlds and new civilisations.
To find purpose, oneself and family in the most unlikely places.
And not to yield before adversity and injustice.

The USS Interceptor is a Star Trek RPG and like many other Star Trek RPG we play episodic missions, but other stories or side-missions are welcomed. This is what our story is about;

First Episode:

In the wakes of the the Borg invasion massive civilians took refugee into the Gamma Quadrant - the only quadrant free from the Borg invasions. Riots and commotions has increased as the quadrant is invaded by civilians from beta and alpha quadrant, upsetting the local citizens of the Gamma Quadrant. In order to calm down the situation USS Interceptor sets off from Starbase 215 to the Gamma Quadrant to escort the remaining crew of federations new and only starbase in Quadrant - Starbase Thalos - and aide them with the civilian refuge crises. But during the passage of the Bajor Wormhole it starts shaking and the USS Interceptor is thrown out of the wormhole, following by a wormhole implosion. On the other side, near the Idran system, the USS Interceptor is intercepted by 3 ships.

At some point we will get in touch with the Federation again, but due to the Borg Invasion it will not be as before. New allies are created in the now shattered federation. We will also have a NPC Starbase in the Gamma Quadrant so we are not alone. The games key elements are character development andto have a fun ti,e writing.

The USS Hera is a Nebula-Class starship, part of TF86, Bravo Fleet. Due to a recent mass exodus, this sim is down to only a handful of active members and is desperately seeking players to fill a variety of senior and junior positions.

Current Mission: Beware the Jabberwock...

With a newly assigned ship, it seems the past has come back to haunt Commander Grey. Their first and last real Starfleet mission aboard their last ship, the USS Da Vinci, had them transporting a few hundred civilian scientists to a remote outpost. Six months later, there has been no word from those Scientists, and it falls to Commander Grey again, this time in charge of the USS Hera, to investigate.

With the station unresponsive to hails and unidentifiable bio-signatures painting a worrying impression of infiltration, Commander Grey orders a full investigation before permitting the transfer of personnel. As the Away Team disembarks, what started out as a routine escort mission soon degenerates into a mad scramble for survival as the darkened corridors echo with the scratching footfall of of StarFleet’s latest nemesis.

The scientists found something in the station, something terrifying. Now it’s hungry, it’s resilient, it cannot be killed by phasers, and it knows we’re here.

USS Adams/Starbase Infinity

The USS Adams-B is an Excalibur-class starship stationed at Starbase Infinity, an Immense-class starbase.

This sim has been active for a few years now, but with some sudden resignations from fellow members and the re-construction of the site (The USS Adams-B was merged with Starbase Infinity) we are now recruiting for fresh blood!

The USS Liberator is looking for new officers. As part of Bravo Fleets Task Force 86, other wise known as T.R.I.D.E.N.T. We are on the front lines of the volatile area of Federation space bordered by the Klingon and Romulan Empires and with the Gorn Hegemony creeping closer things are looking grim in are little corner of space. As currently the only Defiant class ship in Task Force 86 it's up to use to secure the Federations borders no matter what the threat.
