You may be right about the aggregate reactions, but this Firefly fan rates them in the following order: Inara, Kaylee, Zoe, River.

By the way, Morena Baccarin has now moved up into the #3 position for the year to date.

I know the general rule is "past performance doesn't guarantee future results" but Whedon women tend to perform well in the playoffs. Her in the #3 slot as of now assures a good starting position with only about 4 weeks to go.

Annnnddd women don't look that good with bald head, my former friend went to shaving her head off before she went to Gallaudet University a year before. To be honest with you, she's looking like a man now, she revealed herself that she's lesbian, not that I'm criticize her, but respect of who she is.

I agree. Possibly Zoe before Kaylee though, that's a toss up (I like "amazon" women ).

I do agree that the short-haired look is not for her. Actually, when Firefly first came on the air, I expected not to like her, because she looked so model-ly. But she turned out to be incredibly charming as well as beautiful. Firefly has to be the best show ever for beautiful women.

The few "short hair" exceptions (for me) are usually Swedish or other Scandinavian types.

Otherwise they do look a little mannish.

Based on her stints in SG-1, and Firefly I would've thought thumbs up, but honestly not a single one of the pics in this thread did it for me so I have to vote down.
