Available on Xbox 360 and Wii (Oct. 13) and PlayStation 3 system (Oct. 15):

• Motörhead – “(We Are) The Road Crew ‘08”
• Tenacious D – “The Metal”
• Testament – “More Than Meets the Eye”
• Black Tide – “Show Me the Way”
• Blink-182 – “What’s My Age Again?”
• Joe Satriani – “Satch Boogie”
• Joe Satriani – “Surfing with the Alien”
• Kansas – “Icarus (Borne on the Wings of Steel)” (Live from Two for the Show)
• Kansas – “Point of Know Return” (Live from Two for the Show)
• L7 – “Andres”

(All tracks are original master recordings)
Not a bad looking week! Especially the Guitar Hero retreads. I've come to grips with rebuying songs just to have them in Rock Band.

It must be a port of the PSP game... which really isn't a Rock Band game anyway.
You shut the hell up, Rock Band: Amplitude is awesome.

I'm not arguing the quality of the game (although I prefer the electronic tracks of the old games to Rock songs), I'm just saying it's not really a Rock Band game.

Hah, it uses a code so you can rent the game and export the songs - you just have to be the first person to do it.

Still, the only song I want is Song 2... so I'll probably wait for this to be bargain binned.

I know, right? It's already a karaoke legend/staple amongst my friends. Now we don't even have to leave the comfort of my own home...

And the two Queen songs.

I thought Korn was a strange inclusion, myself.

If Lego Rock Band and/or Band Hero are hits, I bet Activision will try to reach an even younger audience. Barney Hero?

Triangle hero!

Picked up the Metal Track Pack... for some reason. Vocals on these tracks suck. And I'm surprised that they still use the Rock Band 1 engine. It's weird to see Rock Band 1 after all this time.

Re: The unofficial Rock Band thread.

What I want to know is if they're going to do anything for Wii owners to get the Lego RB songs into RB2, or if they are going to make us disc swap like we have to for the RB1 songs. I'm even willing to pay a higher per-song cost if some of those are in the Rock band store.

Re: The unofficial Rock Band thread.

I suppose the only hope is if they sell the tracks individually. I don't think they're even considering doing that though.

The Queen 10-pack Yoda mentioned a few pages back is coming out the week of Oct. 18, which doesn't include "We Will Rock You" or "We Are the Champions" since they're on Lego Rock Band.

I think we had that conversation a few weeks ago, on this very page.
