USS Enterprise By Moonlight - Pumpkin Carving

Here is my feeble attempt to recreate the scene from the movie Star Trek 5 where the USS Enterprise (1701-A) is seen silhouetted by moonlight. Not quite what I had hoped to accomplish, but I thought I would share regardless.

Wow. How did you get it to stay together? Whenever I try something that complicated, it always breaks when I try to move it...

This is one of the coolest carved pumpkins I've ever seen.

How'd you make that?

That's almost better than what Bran Ferren gave us!

It looks great! If you could make another you should donate it to the Pumpkin House http://www.wvpics.com/Pumpkin%20House.htm It is a famous house near me that has been on a bunch of national tv programs. Every year but last had a trek Pumpkin. People send in Pumpkins world wide.

It's a foam pumpkin - would that still count for a donation?

Oh, that's the secret. I'm going to have to get a few of these, and try to do something...
