Re: Buying the new uniforms...

^ Thanks! That was very useful... and also allowed me to stumble onto this.

This site also gave me a clue as to what to do for the utility belt. I found everything but the phaser holster on Amazon.

And since you can't get the DKNY boots anymore, I am still happy with my purchase (even if I am not happy with the sole thickness). They wear well, the leather is soft and flexible and they are as close as I could find. (If someone finds something else that's closer, please post!) I even wore them out today under my jeans to break them in.

^ What are you planning on doing for the phaser holster? I have a "utility" belt that I got for 4 bucks at Rural King, but I am not sure what exactly to do for holsters for the phaser and communicator (it should be noted that I am playing fast and loose with the rules as I am planning on getting a movie-style uniform, but am using the TOS-style phaser/communicator).

Actually I would be more interested in the Uniforms at the time of Kirks birth (at the beginning of the movie). They look way more sophisticated (more TNG style) than the later ones Kirk & Co. wear.

And this.. confirms people's prejudices about trekkies on so many levels, it's just wrong:
That is for the "plus size" customers (i.e. fat Americans). There is a normal version of the shirt as well.
"Normal", as in child sized adults?

Maybe next time they could get a British model to show their crooked yellow smile?
Its not easy being green.
