So was he upset Helo was going to die period or that he wasn't going out in a blaze of glory?

And Cavil's suicide was more surprising than Tigh killing him, but really out of character.
I think it was perfectly in line with his character. There's no way Cavil would allow himself to be killed off by a bunch of inferior humans.

Anders is having hot ghost sex with Starbuck. He's fine.

Interesting. So this is what the "Spoiler whore's thread" looks like from inside .

Are there any spoilers for The Plan?

Best I found was this:

Link. Kinda ho-hum.

I feel a little cheated by this upcoming The Plan. Is it just me or does it seem like somebody saying "Well we put this 'and they have a plan' in the opening montage for three years and all the internet fanboys are complaining about it so we need to make this movie so they will buy our BluRay discs"?

Re: Spoiler whore's thread! (enter at your own risk)

First time here, as I've just caught up, waited for the brouhaha to die down. Another reason was I was finding the whoile damn thing so depressing. Fortunately, the point I started watching again (s4e07) seemed to me to be a point where the tone swung upwards as the race to the end began.

Cavil's suicide caught me out, and made me think, despite the resurrection hub going west, that he had a backup plan just for him. He seemed to be smart enough. But that might just be me.

Because I'd remained spoiler free, some things caught me by surprise:
Earth
The planet they finally settled on.
The angels (that really caught me out).
150,000 years later.
Sending the fleet into the sun (a dumb idea to me)
Roslin's death - how/where she died.
Boomer not making it (understandable in some ways).

Not sure about 'The Plan', or any other movies. I'll wait and see.

And one more thing: I found Starbuck as tedious as a broken car exhaust, loud, obnoxious, and stinkin' up the place. Her change as some kind of unaware angel being was just... what were they thinking?!

I thought Starbuck's character improved in the final season. I found the whole Lee/Starbuck/Sam triangle tedious and her character suffered for it. Towards the end she was thinking about others (taking care of Sam, Adama and his ship, etc) rather than herself and it was a refreshing change for her.

Besides that we still got to see her and Lee "kicking ass and taking names" which is always fun.

Yeah kinda.

I love the series and the finale, but this is a bit of a cheat.

There was no Plan, let's move on.
